Not Too Bad of a Movie

I had not seen the Stage production (Yes, I live under a rock!) but loved the intertwining of the songs with the story. It took me back to the 70's, the DISCO Era, and all the fun I had when I was in my teens. Believe the movie was one song too long. The movie dragged towards the end. For 1 1/2 hours sitting there -- Not too bad. I was surprised that Meryl could sing as well as she did... Pierce, do us a favor -- leave singing to the professionals. This movie will probably go in the hamper with other campy musicals that have become cult classics. As they say -- It gave me something to do for 1 1/2 hours, but I left the theater with a smile on my face.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
