I have read all the books in the Twilight series, and was very disappointed in the film. I felt that there were some unnecessarily slow dialog scenes and emphasis was taken off of individual characters to make sure all characters from the book were mentioned. The character development of Bella and Edward fell short of what it could have been. The only redeeming feature was the transformation of Edward's character as he fell in love with Bella.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
