A Luke Warm Attempt

There has been a strange movement in the Harry Potter Movies to make them as short as possible. They went to great lengths to show the development of the characters relationships, but every scene was unnecessarily fabricated because the book's scenes did quite nicely. They also cut out swaths of the story where we never even hear of Creature or of the hidden Black house. I have to say I like the characters and the acting was very good. The new take on the death eaters assaults makes them a force to be reckoned with. The Weasly magic shop was also imaginative and really brought to life. One of the best parts to show that the characters are growing up, which is hardly registered in the books, Dumbledore tells Harry he needs a shave.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
