Previous films left out scene and chapters due to time restraints and simplicity. Up until now the movie makers have done a great job without compromising the stories' action/fantasy elements and heart of each book. In Half-Blood Prince the book is stripped down to a boring 2 and half hours. Pivotal scenes were omitted. (Why was the Half-Blood Prince the Half-Blood Prince?) Action was almost non existent. (What happened to the amazing climactic battle from the end of the book?) The relationships were stale and unbelievable. (Why was so much time spent on character interaction without going anywhere?) Did J. K. really approve this? They dropped the ball with this one in a big way.
