1Hour 40 Minutes of Purgatory

I wanted to like this movie. The story idea is great. There is no one in this movie I cared about...stereotypes galore. Special effects were so-so. And part II is probably inevitable. If you are a 15 y/o boy you may like this, otherwise, save you money.

What movie did these people see?

Man, I wanted to like this movie. Well, if you saw the preview, you saw all the good parts of the movie. It was NOT scary for any real horror movie fan. Blair Witch was much better. The end is creepy but that is about it. If it was a short film of 30 minutes, it would have been better. Acting was bad. Sad, but 97 minutes was too long. Very disappointed here. way over hyped.

Skip the movie

Read the book. at least 20 minutes too long. Boring. Romance scenes took up too much of the movie. They skipped good scenes from the book for silly romance.

Story is bad. Effects are great. About 50 minutes too long. If you are a 15 y/o boy who likes bimbo girls, loud explosions, and great visuals go see it, if not wait for DVD or just skip it.

Fun summer movie

Just like most of the summer movies, this is fun and non-thought provoking. It is not anywhere as good as the book and I personally do NOT like Tom Hanks. If you saw the first one and liked it you will probably like this one.

Watchmen is bit long

I remember the comic book well and how excited I was to read the story. They movie, while good, is not for non-fans. As a fan, it was still a bit long. The love scenes were terrible. The CGI was great. The story was true to the comic. Many people who did not live through the 80s will also not understand most of the ideas in the story line. Worth seeing if you are a fan only

Good summer movie

Fun, better than the 1st one. Good effects. Hulk looked almost real. Interesting ending and tie in with IronMan.
