The story itself is quite compelling and rather moving at times. Both lead actors gave heartfelt performances and revealed the complexity of their characters. However, the WAY the story was told lacked any momentum, development or empathy. If the intent was to present it in a "compartmentalized or disintegrated" way, possibly to reflect the experience of schizophrenia, then it succeeded.....but not in a good way.
some really great morality questions are raised in the movie, presenting many levels of meaning. Few moments with cliched exposition, which can be a bit nauseating, but overall, very moving and impactful.
