Benchmark CGI, produciton design and musical score makes TRON legacy the next wave in movie entertainment leaving AVATAR in the dust. However, the thin, cluncky narrative gets in the way of what would otherwise be an instant classic. But let's remember, this is Joe Kaminiski's first feature film. Not bad. Not bad by a long shot.

Saw it on friday on a regular screen and then on Saturday in IMAX. I'm not a great fan of the matrix trilogy and consider myself unbiased. This was a really wonderful homage to Speed Racer, one of the few sixties series done justice to. I've already recommended it and would recommend it to anyone (especially if you have kids... of any age) Don't know why the critics are panning it. I just don't get it.
