I was not made disappointed by the technical wonderment of the production.. however.. I was made aware that this Very affable Performer had, in fact, (hidden by the director's ability, the technologies, and the musicians on hand.. ) lacked in substance of what his own talent had delivered before, The dancing had lost a certain amount of luster,although well done,and heroic for an older determined man.. His voice was covered ,I'm sure by design, by the spectacular sound system provided to the small orchestra, and had lost it's fiber and quite frankly all tonnage afforded him in the past.. Like Wayne Newton, He used great talents to surround himself to cover the weaknesses. Still... agreat night with Mr. Jackson & iMax. thank you

Time for Michael Mann to go to his chalet and rest on his Laurels. . The editing was hard to digest and the cinematography was convoluted at best. Johnny Depp was probably told exactly what to do and therefore when he did it, the movie lost his presence. This movie had the same spirit in it as "Godfather 3" ........ lots of decorations but no Christmas tree. Finally.. the movie was NOT horrible...Mondane and predictable.. miscast a lot.. Johnny in particular.. I kept seeing him as Hunter Thompson in this movie. Brolin might have been the better choice. but I digress. Marvin Purvis with Bale driving was not believable to me. And the thugs all looked like Pansies... oh well.. I'm in a small town in the midwest so.. it only cost me $6.25
No, I do not recommend this movie.
