I'm going to preface this by admitting that I am not really into Star Trek, but I still enjoyed this flick! I only went to see the movie b/c J. J. Abrams directed it and he created my fave TV show, Lost. The movie was terrific, even for someone like me, who has limited knowledge of Star Trek in general. I knew enough to get by. Actually, it makes me want to start watching the old episodes! Fantastic casting, great special effects and everyone in the movie theater seem enraptured. Definitely a must-see!! My husband loved it, but he's more of a sci-fi buff than I am!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I was skeptical at first because there are so many "bride" movies out there that are lame and sub-par, but I truly enjoyed this one! At the end, I even turned to the person who had gone to see it with me and said, "I loved that!" Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson are adorable, especially Hudson, as she reminds me so much of her mother, Goldie Hawn. Husdon has that same "sparkle" and star power as her mother. I would definitely recommend this movie to my girlfriends. Guys- not so much, unless they are taking a girl on a date.
