I loved the movie. It's a good action flick but has great character development and complexity. Combine that with the amazing effects and you've got a wonderfully entertaining movie that keeps you guessing right up to the very last second.

I'm glad I saw it but...

From a purely creative standpoint the movie is amazing and well worth all the hype. I saw it in IMAX 3-d and I really did feel like I was in the movie. On the flip side, the storyline is engaging but hackneyed and I felt a bit manipulated at the end. Come on, "Unobtainium" as the elusive element that the corporation is after? A little subtlety could have helped the movie a great deal, but I don't think that is in Cameron's playbook.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
