I didn't think anybody could top the originality of Luca's Star Wars, but Cameron has done it with this film.
The storyline, the characters, the planet, the ecosystem, the message are so incredibly poignant for society today.
A must see film that is incredibly well done.
I'm waiting for the sequel.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I saw this movie with my 6 year old. While it isn't off the charts great, as in, 'toy story,' the movie was funny, entertaining and had a good, wholesome story for children. There is "too much of a good thing," and the movie helps us all to appreciate what we've got - each other and how greed can be a bad thing - and its really funny too!
This isn't your grandpa's Star Trek. The plot is serious - the destruction of the the federation - the action is big, but the film is also light-hearted at times and even funny. It connects well to the original series enough to please the the serious trekkie (the Kirk, Spock, Ohura, McCoy, Solo, etc. characters are believable), while capturing the attention of a whole new generation of fans. In that regard, it has the look and feel of other large-scale sci-films like Transformers, Independence Day, etc. A clear winner and likely more films to come.
The latest from Dreamworks Animation is a fun film that is action packed at times, but is very slow and boring throughout. It is billed as a laugh riot - there are some funny moments for both kids and adults - but they aren't that frequent.
We watched the 3D version which added to the attraction of the film; but it didn't make the movie as with Disney's Bolt.
The story line of accepting yourself (Susan) and people who are different - the monster's - is a good one for children to understand.
I saw this movie with my 6-year old son. Bolt had us captivated from start to finish. The action sequences - especially in 3D - jump off the screen. A 21st century story about a girl separated from her dog, and the new family that comes together to reunite Bolt with her person Penny. Bolt learns he isn't the TV hero that thought he was, but ends up the hero anyways.
Awesome animation, great characters, and a good story for young and old.
If you're looking for the typical Pixar film, this isn't it. It has the incredible animation that you've come to expect from Pixar - it is so incredible at times you'll forget you are watching animation. This is an amazing story of Wall-E and how his love for others potentially saves the planet we destroyed. My five year old loved it and was captivated the whole time, and as an adult it made me think about what our future shouldn't be. The film is filled with tons of subliminal messages - and it makes you think about what we are doing to ourselves and our planet. Almost an animated sci-fi film. Not your typical Pixar film for sure, but it was GREAT!
