Great for Trekkies and everyone

I have seen all the movies and continue to enjoy all the shows in reruns. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It had laugh out loud moments, and it was as action packed as you would expect from a good Star Trek movie. Chris Pine is AMAZING as Jim Kirk. He nailed Shatner as Kirk, in style, voice, in every way. Simon Pegg sounds exactly like Scotty, but he comes into the movie much too late. I was a bit disappointed in Zachary Quinto's portrayal of Spock, since I thought he played him a bit too soft, but you can't have everything. A lot of people are complaining about the alternative timeline, but it does offer a nice opportunity to see this cast in future movies which I, for one, am excited about.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
