The Dark Knight Exceeds Already High Expectations

The Dark Knight is not just a great super hero movie but an excellent movie in general. As it was, Batman Begins was a great movie on its own. To be able to top that one was going to be tough, as it is with all sequels, but they certainly pulled it off with the Dark Knight. Great performance by Christian Bale as was expected after the first movie, and an incredible version of the Joker by Heath Ledger. Also great work by the supporting cast; Oldman, Freeman, Caine, and Eckhart. These two movies are by far the best and truest portrayals of a superhero brought to the big screen. The Dark Knight truly captures what Batman is all about and the ending couldn't have been more perfect in achieving that. The bar has been set high for a third movie but based on these two the franchise is in very capable hands that can pull it off.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
