Not What I Expected

In reading about this film I was left with the impression that it was a comedy and expected to enjoy a light hearted approach to an unusual scenario. Instead it was an excellent exploration of men and their relationships with other men. Mark Duplass and Joshua Lenor were excellent at expressing what every guy deals with during the course of his life. How do straight men deal with the love that they feel for those men they get close to. Ms. Delmore was the perfect foil and obviously has a very bright future acting in film or on the stage. Her reaction after being inadverttently informed about the two guys plan was brilliant! Well worth the price of admission!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

After spending several weekends seeing such terrific films as "The Reader", "Benjamin Button" and "Slum Dog", I thought I would lighten things up by seeing "I Love You, MAN". I am not a big fan of comic love stories but found this one refreshing, funny, with a cast full of likable actors. Nice way to spend a couple of hours.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
