X-files is nice

Suprisingly, this X-Files movie had nothing to do with the alien conspiracy arc. The movie in general was a stand alone X-File episode made larger for the theater. I enjoyed the movie and it was great to see Mulder and Skully back in action again but the movie was not great, it was just good. It was worth the price of admission as the movie had many elements that good movies do. There were many funny one- liners and there was the classic tension between Mulder and Skully that makes the X-Files great. There were plenty of villians to dislike and there was enough action to keep the movie going from beginning to end. Unfortunately, there was not a huge twist or shocking ending and in general Skully is acting the "tortured soul" to much in this flick for my liking. Nice movie but leaves me wanting the next episode to be more explosive and over the top.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
