I actually went to sleep during the movie. It was badly acted, even worse for direction, and the plot was nonexistent. The original Star Wars outshone this one by at least four orders of magnitude. Don't bother spending the money for a ticket, nor for pay-for-view. I would not even spend the gas for a free showing.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Well done action movie with realistic perspectives on what physics applies. We really enjoyed it.
The cinematography in this movie impressed me much as Star Wars did when it was released. Like that older generation movie, it introduced an entire new level in movie experiences, this time the blend of astonishing imagery with brilliant color. While the plot of Corporate earth and their mercenaries was a bit much, it was overcome by the tremendous job done with makeup and the animals. Overall it is an outstanding presentation which will be purchased and viewed on DVD by several generations.
My spouse and Daughter wanted to see the movie and being a good guy I went with them. While the action was adequate, and the story of the terracotta army believable, I actually dozed off twice before the armies started marching. This is the first time in over two years an action movie put me to sleep before it got started. But, when I finally woke up it was not boring.
We were unable to get to a theatre with 3D but still this was an enjoyable experience. The movie moved so fast it seemed like 30 minutes, thrilling and several unexpected transitions. Overall I really enjoyed it, and in detail also. Excellent integration of computer generated graphics.
This movie is full of action and very enjoyable during the entire show. My entire family enjoyed it (all adults). The plot shifts were unexpected but clear.
