Great movie for Sherlock Holmes fans

Great movie for Sherlock Holmes fans - true to books and character, with a raw edge, both in character and locale. I had a great time, but the pace was sometimes uneven - very fast, at times, and a few places it seemed a little slow.
Overall a fun, entertaining, thrilling and mental treat.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
