Awesome! The worst reviews I've read accuse this film of being a slave to the source material, well, I gotta tell you, if it's a bad thing to do something like that well, then I guess I like bad movies. Slavish fidelity to the graphic novel is no easily accomplished task, as I'm sure Zack Snyder realized. You may not like this movie for the violence, the sex, the nudity, the darkness, the tone, or the overall cynicism of Alan Moore, but if you don't like those things, then why are you seeing an R-rated movie based on one of the darkest comics ever written? I loved it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Best Batman movie ever! Best comic book movie ever! Best movie of the summer! Perhaps a bit choppily edited, but this is no doubt a result of making the movie come in under 3hrs running time. If that footage winds up being restored, I'll go ahead and vote best DVD ever ahead of time. See this film!
