As a tremendous fan of the books I was disappointed with the movie. 1) It was too short. Another half an hour would have allowed the viewers to see more development in Edward and Bella. Should have spent less time flying in trees and more time developing the characters 2) The meadow scene was almost unrecognizable and there was no need to change it from the book THAT much. The saving grace was the chemistry between Rob and Kristen. The kiss was amazing (a bit steamier than the book since Bella was in her underwear on her bed) and I found myself sweating while watching them. I really enjoyed their scenes together more than anything else in the film. Overall, less special effects, more character development.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
