3D, not so much

Generally lived up to media hype, interesting special effects, good screenplay and characters who stories surprisingly addressed several dimensions such as abuse of natural resources in the name of corporate profit, ethnic and cultural conflict, spirituality and the idea that laws of nature must and do effect all living creatures, love and family to mention a few. 3D was, well, not so much! I expected to see flying military hardware hurling out of the screen as I ducked down in my theatre seat to avoid them. 3D glasses were a distraction, lens too small and very uncomfortable.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
