Lots of surprises in this version...

Gotta give the writers alot of credit on this one. Growing up watching the original show, there was enough to establish characters & how they get together in this version. Didn't like what happened to Spok's mother, but it gave him the chance to hear Sarek speak to him with love & respect at a young age (which would not have happened otherwise). Did everyone catch the fact that the character parachuting down with Sulu & Kirk was wearing a RED shirt? Nice added touch for Trek fans... All in all, lots of action, special effects, & alot of fun to watch!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
