All visual, no story...

Avatar is absolutely an amazing visual film experience. There is no question that from this standpoint this is a game changer. I’d go again based solely on the visual thrill Cameron produced. However, I must say that the script was less than weak, even Disney-ish. If you’re going to spend $500,000,000 to make a film, spend a couple thousand for a story that is interesting and a script that isn’t completely predicable. 5 stars visual, 1 star script.
