Great Action Yarn

Wonderful period scenes of London, non-stop action, and lots of comic relief make this the feel-good movie of the season. Even the bad guys are fun!
Downey is a treasure, and his scenes with Jude Law are priceless.
Great CGI and cinematography melt with the storyline into an action-filled romp. Truly a must-see!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great Version of a Great Story

Saw the Swedish version of all three movies, and thought they did an excellent job. However, nobody does it like Hollywood does. Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer? Can't be beat. Noomi Rapace fit the role better visually. However, Rooney Mara soon has you eating out of her hand.
This version has very graphic violence and sexuality. However, as that is the central theme of the books, I believe it is warranted here.
A definite must see, especially for readers of the books. If you haven't yet, I urge you to read all three of these excellent books.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Absolutely Horrid!

I am a big SF fan, novels, movies, the whole enchilada. This movie would rank up there with Plan 9 From Outerspace, but I wouldn't even recommend seeing it for laughs. The guy who did the special effects probably wishes they were used in a better movie.
Contrary to the trailer, which seems large in scope, the entire movie takes place in an apartment building, from which there is no escape. An attempt is made to maintain tension, and a lame cheating-husband sub-plot falls apart almost immediately.
They should have gone direct to DVD. Now, it won't sell any!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Great concept, and I actually found it easy to follow. Each sequence has its own motif, making the various dream levels easy to distinguish from one another. Makes you wonder about reality and the power of the mind...
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Yes, yes, there's a message (and a few Hollywood knocks on religion and conservative values of course) but if you suspend your disbelief and ignore the obvious liberal propaganda, it's a fun romp.
Some cheered the demise of la-la-land and DC. LOL!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A fun escapist romp, with lots of incredible effects. Megan Fox is amazing. Even in the most violent battles we are treated to some great cleavage. At the end of the movie everyone is torn up and bloody. However, Megan's make-up is still perfect, and her white pants are as clean as a whistle . . . and we love it!
Oh, and there's some robots and stuff . . .
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Virtually no plot advancement. Want to read great terminator? Read the Infiltrator series by S.M.Stirling.
Why does Hollywood think SF fans just want special effects?!! I'll take this over S*x and the City any time, but, please, beef up the plot. Give us some down time between the special effects and CGI. Sheesh
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Darkest and best Batman yet. I love Jack Nicolson, but Ledger is the real thing. His performance is incredible. Unfortunately for Christian Bale, who is an excellent Batman, Ledger steals the show. See it for the story, see it for the action, but most of all see it for the Joker!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
