As a big Indiana Jones fan I expected something grand and over-the-top to bring back the franchise, but was sadly disappointed. This movie just didn't have the same adventurous allure and excitement of the classics and was largely predictable with corny jokes and not so hot special effects. The whole thing was just kind of dry and flat. This was definitely a borderline kids movie that didn't do its predecessors any justice. They really dropped the ball on this one.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This one is clearly a "foundation" movie to lay out the storyline for the Ironman saga, so there's WAY more talking than action. I'd say it's about 80% talk and 20% action. Still though, the movie is hot. Didn't think Robert would have been able to pull this one off, but he and the rest of the cast did a great job at proving me wrong. The special effects are sick, the acting is believable, and the storyline is solid with a mix of comedy. I'd expect the next one to have a lot more action though since so much of the base was established in this one, but this one is definitely worth a look! I would highly recommend!
