I am not much of an Indiana Jones fan, but I went with my husband and loved it. I had just taken an archaeology class on the Naxca and the Mayan civilization so it was cool to hear them referred to. There were some parts that were intense, it made it feel like you were there with them. Casting Shia Lebouf (spelling?) as the sidekick was a great choice. Also, there is a book with this storyline by James Rollins, though I don't think they tell that in the credits, I didn't pay much attention to that part though. Overall I loved the movie and I would see it again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
