This book was sometimes very detailed and I feel with the great special effects and great acting, they really brought it to life. Its amazing what a larger budget can do for a movie. Great job Chris! Although it is one of the darkest of the books, I felt they kept the story moving with the music and great effects. Oh, great job packing on the muscles Jacob! You have come a long way since Sharkboy! My girls loved it!

Twi-hards will not be disappointed!

As a mom of a Twi-hard tween, I read the book as well and enjoyed seeing it unfold on the big screen. I only have two who are old enough to enjoy the movie but I felt they did a great job of keeping as true to the book as possible without disappointing the tween squealers in the theatre! The crowd cheered and interacted with the movie and I felt even those who had never read the book enjoyed it as well. I have always felt Kristen Stewart to be an up and coming actress that was well before her time and everyone was casted perfectly. The movie should make plenty enough money to spend more on special effects next time for book #2's movie. Loved Stephenie's cameo as well. Great job Catherine Hardwicke!
