Sorry George, we have 2 wait for the DVD when out!

Just got back from the Movie 'The American' with George Clooney...gads I just love him..and this movie has great 'close up' of him...no nude scenes 4 him, but some rather intimate bedroom scenes....
okay...now this is a really SLOOOOOW movie...wait 4 the DVD...it all took place in Italy, I even knew the village where most it of it took place so I loved that, but even the audience was drop a feather quite waiting for something to happen...it never came until the end, and then u just were astonished the movie was a minute from the end. LOL...so wish there were more action, the move made it's point (a lonely life for the guy)...but they could have convinced us of that in the first 10 minutes instead they took the whole 1Hr 40 minutes to portray it. BTW the Movie was 1Hr 45 Minutes long...
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Sit on the Edge of your Chair Movie

I loved the Bourne movies & like them I loved the main character played by Matt Damon. He played a 'Joe' Solider, smarter than most, who realized pretty quick, something's not right about the phoney WMD's story. Makes u think we're not told all about the War we're in. This Movie has more realistic action & drama & I felt like I was there in Iraq with our troups. God Bless them all. I'm a real FAN of Matt Damon & the action in this movie is intense. Go see it, I will buy the DVD.

This is a 'GREAT' Movie, I loved the plot and the suspense, yes there is violence, but it was needed to be in for the whole story. Mel Gibson is wonderful, really I was so impressed with his performance and I wasn't a big Fan of his. The writer of this story should get an Award, and really good supporting actors. I will buy this when it comes out on DVD and I'm going 2 go see it again, I usually don't watch movies more than once, so, I guess I really enjoyed this Movie....one that is okay to spend your $ on.

What film were you at?

This is NO Star Wars...I was so disappointed in this film & it was Gosh Awful to sit in the Theater for almost 3 hours watching this (I woud have left but was w/friends & I didn't want to insist they leave too). This FILM reminds me of 2 things. 1. That our US Troops are Bullies, who don't care about anything except firing their weapons & runing all that is good. (which I don't believe our troops do at all).. and 2. If I can get away from believing they are our US Troops then I think of them as ...hum...The White mem attacking Native Americans...
I HATED THIS FILM.....I've never NEVER given this Bad of a Review, but really...I HATED THIS FILM...
What can't I give it a minus 10 (that's -10) stars

Good Movie, worth the $

Liam Neeson is really good in this Movie...I hated his xwife...I travel allot, this made me re-think about going to Paris again anytime soon. We had a 'similar' real life experience in Bancock, which makes a person cautious.
An eye opener, but I loved the Action, didn't even go 2 the bathroom (held it for a long time) lol.... as not to miss anything!

Good Movie!

I enjoyed this movie very much, I was amazed how they were able to 'age' Benjamin from old to young. Brad Pitt looked so tiny at the beginning and, of course, grew 'down' to be his amazing self. And I only wish someone could 'unage' me to the teenage looking Benjamin at the end of the movie. Everything was so well done.
I've never been a Cate Blanchett fan, but wow, she looked amazing too, and did a fine job of acting.
The Director, David Fincher, should get an award!

I really Like this Movie!

DiCaprio is really good in this and the guy that played Hanni is a 'HUNK'...
Had a good a believable Story, and the Filming & Editing were worth an Award. I'm going to see the movie again and buy it when the DVD is released. Spend your $9.50 or whatever to see it, it's worth the $.
And I'm married to a Pakistini and wasn't offended at all.

Good Movie

We enjoyed the movie allot. I didn't like what that Director did with some of the Camera angles...(come on it made me dizzy)... BUT these 2 Amazing actors did not disapoint, nice to see them together.
I guess 'WHO' from the beginning......

I Really Liked this Movie!

the 'flashbacks' are great to understand each person's perspective. I loved Dennis Quad, he is so handsome & I was memorized by his intense performance. What a MAN~....
Really this is a good movie, worth your money to see. I will buy it when it comes out on video......
