I thought the movie was good, but not the groundbreaking performance that would redefine the genre. Ledger was good, but not spectacular. If he were still alive, the hype would not be there. See it. It's a good summer action flick with an attempt at some thought provoking moments, but honestly, there are better "question our humanity" movies out there.

This movie was excellent. It was a great adaptation of the comic book while bringing only the innovation that the big screen can to such a classic Marvel character. Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark is dead on and Gwyneth makes an excellent Pepper. Downey's range is amazing in this movie. I'm so happy to see this excellent actor back on his feet and doing his best work yet. I can't wait for the sequel - and you know Marvel will roll one out.
