Truly a great action movie. Edge of your seat with great dialogue- some LOL funny- as well. Cruise does make good movies. I understand this comes from a book series; hopefully more will be made into film!

Few laughs, uncharming

This is only the second time I have disagreed with the rest of my fellow reviewers on Movie Tickets. This movie took unfair pot shots at Christian school kids and traditional familial relationships( your mother telling you she was loose in high school and was able to put her feet behind her head to facilitate sex??!!) and was generally unfunny.
Emma is adorable, but this movie is not!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Convoluted mess

I kinda see where(maybe) this movie was going, but then again, it did so in such a convoluted and pompous way that I can't be sure. Much of the film made little sense, and IF it was supposed to be a morality tale, the tortuous plot was immoral.
