Very Good Acting

This movie was very good. I do not think there is a better quality actor alive today than Leonardo DiCaprio. Armie Hammer did an excellent job as Hoover's #2 man. Clint Eastwood can sure cast a movie. Don't miss this if you remember J. Edgar Hoover at all.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I was not impressed at all. It was a fantasy designed to scare you. A typical disaster movie that was not even slightly good. It had a great cast of actors that were totally underutilized and none had much of an individual role. Do not waste your money on this 'B' movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Very Good

I was really surprised just how good this movie was. Having lived in MS for several years this movie is true to life even today. It was very difficult to go through it all over again after experiencing it first hand in the past. The South is a scary place to live. The mentality is so backward. The Southern States are full of racial bigots. It is hot and humid, plenty of bugs, and it rains night and day. I don't think it will ever change. The KKK is still alive and well down there....
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Here is the deal: If you really don't understand what Wall Street is all about, don't go see this movie. You will be bored stiff! The actors did a great job portraying people of greed though. Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, Jason Brolin, and Eli Wallach were above and beyond. They were so good it hurts. Even Charlie Sheen had a Cameo roll as 'Bud Fox' from the original movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Lousy Movie!

'Sherlock Holmes' is a good example of why movies are in trouble today. Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law were great as usual, otherwise I would have rated the movie 1 star. First of all, it was a very boring movie. Everyone was dirty all the time. Sherlock Holmes was a super sleuth detective, but all the other stuff was silly.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I think as 'Terminator' movies go this release was only fair. Christian Bale is a very good and dedicated actor, but the movie was missing the Governator except in a cameo appearance. This franchise is done in my opinion.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This movie was nothing like the original version starring James Mason and Pat Boone. I was bored and pretty dissapointed overall. It would be just 'Ok' as a rental, but even that is not really worth it in my opinion. Save your hard earned money and go see something else.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The main thing I can say about this movie is how good Edward Norton was in his role and how great the computer graphics were. Go see it and I promise you will not be dissapointed. Don't expect an exact Bill Bixby redue of the TV Series, but close.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

TERRIBLE MOVIE!

This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen and believe me I have seen a lot of movies in my lifetime. I think Mark Wahlberg should be saddened by his very poor career choice to act in this movie. The story line was stupid and so was the end result. It is a real shame that so many movies released today have fallen to this all-time low level. It almost makes me not want to go to the movies anymore. I am not quite there yet, but close. Save you hard-earned money - Don't go see this movie!

I was very dissapointed in this movie. Having been a long time fan of Indiana Jones, this version was not the same. Not only has Harrison Ford and Karen Allen both aged a lot, but they were not convincing in their former character roles. The kid (Shia LaBeouf) was Ok, but I think he was much better in Transformers last year. I would say rent this movie if you must, but do not waste your hard earned dollars on it. I also think the special effects were pretty lousy and so was the 'science fiction' theme.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
