Excellent Thrill Ride

I just went and saw this movie having avoided the big crowds. This first thing I wanted to mention was that, even though the movie was over 2 hours long, it never dragged. I really appreciated the way that the character of Stark and Iron Man was fully fleshed out. Here we finally have a flawed (yet very likeable) super hero. (Although I think that alot of women may find his character a bit offensive). But hey, it's based on a comic book that is supposed to appeal to the 14 year boy in all of us. Robert Downey Jr. gave a fantastic performance with just the right amount of bravado, arrogance but compassion. Gwyneth Paltrow was also very good as Pepper. She was very believable as the assistant with the barely concealed crush on her boss. Jeff Bridges was also superb as the villain(although I wonder why all villains must be bald) This movie was a 2 hour and 6 minute thrill ride that never really let up. It is probably one of the better action movies I have seen this year and I would highly recommend it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
