I liked this movie a lot. It is gritty and dark, and so much less silly and campy than the Keaton and Clooney versions of Batman. Everyone keeps talking about Heath Ledger, who was amazing, but I have to plug Christian Bale, too, who is just amazing as a serious Dark Knight. Some people don't like this dark, serious Batman, but I infinitely prefer it, just as I prefer the more serious and dark Daniel Craig as Bond. I want to see this one again already. Oh, and Chicago makes a great Gotham, but I am a bit biased, since they filmed all around where I live.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
