Wonderfully Romantic

While this genere of movie is pretty much a formulaic one it takes good acting and a good story for each on to stand out, and this movie does just that. Amanda is an excellent actress, which surprised me because I only remember her from Mean Girls.
I loved the overall story and the simplicity of the romance. The touching of generations was especially beautiful because it helped form the basis for the story. A second chance at love.
It was funny, romantic, visually appealing and enjoyable. It went fast! I loved how it made fun of itself too...that was just the perfect touch.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Overall it was much better then I expected. I appreciate that it wasn't a direct remake of the original which lets face it was cheesy. Sam Worthington made a much better Persius than did Harry Hamlin. The orignial wasn't convincing as a hero at all. I don't think you needed the 3D effects on this movie. I actually watched it in 2d and it was fine. What I liked the most about the movie is that it felt like a greek story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
