Director Ron Howard does a highly effective job of maintaining focus and momentum in this taut, intelligent thriller. His discreet handling of the preferiti executions also stops short of descent into gratuitous violence, Overall, I found this to be a satisfying, worthy treatment of Dan Brown's intriguing story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
