Saw it in 2D with wife and 11yo. The story was good and and there were some funny moments. The animation was well done. There is a lot of dialog, and the plot does move slow here and there, but the ending makes for the slower moments. Because of the dialog and lesser action, I would not recommend any children under 5 seeing it. They will be bored and restless. There were a number of them in the theater with us and it was very distracting as they were moving around and making noise.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
