While there are over/under tones to politics, war, greed and all in this movie I very much enjoyed seeing it on Christmas Day in IMAX 3D. A movie is suppose to be an escape for most and this movie delievered an enjoyable experience. I'd most definetly see it again in IMAX again.
While I'm not a greenie, I did notice the correlation to the American Indians and how they treated the earth and were one with the universe. It shows what the human race has done to the planet and this reminds us that we should be more careful with the planet that we have. Let’s leave some green on the ground and pass it on down to the next generation. Other than that I thought it was a great movie, strong story line and very enjoyable. I also have never written a review and this is the first, that’s how much I enjoyed the movie. I can’t wait for this movie to come out on DVD so that I can add it to my collection (I don’t always buy the movies I see on DVD).
Overall this movie was pretty interesting. I enjoyed the storyline but think it could have done just as a great job entertaining without the excessive use of the F word, I wouldn't call it pervasive. Freeman and Jolie did well with this one.
