This was a brilliant movie. Tommy Lee Jones was fabulous,Loved how this screenplay added interest and humor to this authentic portrayal of politics during one of historys' most important hurdles. In terms of human emotions...history repeats itself demonstrating the common human concerns during war times.Lincolns motivation (to end the war and free the slaves) is largely driven by his desire to keep his son safe from harm and out of the war. Sally Fields is wonderful and she,along with others ,draws you into her heart and enables us to feel her pain,
