Too violent

This movie was such a disappointment. With the A-list cast they had, they could have done so much more. They paid all those great actors to basically grunt through fight scenes, they barely talked. Only Jack Black's character was interesting and entertaining at all. Too much of the movie was fight scenes and "wow" animation effects. Neither my 4 yr old or 6 yr old liked it much - they were both scared at times. And my husband & I were both disappointed, too. Too bad, there was so much potential...
No, I do not recommend this movie.
