Tyler Perry has done it again!" This movie is moving, captivating, true but oh so triumphant! I laughed. I cried. It is the best Tyler Perry I have seen yet!
Pelham 123" is a great movie. It is intense and edgy. Travolta puts a spin on this character. His portrayal of the criminally insane was A-1! Denzel did a great job as well.
My only problem was the excessive cursing. It was truly unnecessary.
Star Trek was an excellent execution of the vision that Gene Roddenberry wanted to share with the world.
This movie explored relationships that we didn't see on T.V. that Roddenberry had in mind such as the love relationship between Spock and Uhuru.
I loved that this movie was full of adventure, action and humor. I enjoyed the acting and the whimsical play on the characters as they were portrayed in the T.V. series.
Bolt" is a great movie. I loved the personification of Bolt and his pals. They captured what I envision that animals would be like if they could talk. There were slow points but overall the movie was really cute!
"The Secret Life of Bees" was an all around good movie. The characters were believable. The movie was very realistic. It showed greatly how love transcends despite jealousies and hatred.
I would recommend this movie to anyone. It encourages the heart and gives hope to African American women and women alike that they can have dreams and they can be successful despite their current or on going situations.
The "Secret" is out: this movie was wonderful! Go see it!
This movie was very intriguing. I enjoyed how it keeps you guessing at every turn. LaBeouf and Monaghan played well off of each other. The action was immense. I totally enjoyed the special effects.
This was the best movie I have seen all this year. This was a moving and riveting movie that totally brought the reality of the African American soldier's conditions and experiences. Spike Lee's direction was absolutely fantastic. You feel like you know these men. You feel for all the victims in this movie. I went away weeping behind the carnage and by the blessing that came from it. To all involved in this excellent movie...Kudos!!!
Tyler Perry's newest movie, "The Family That Preys" is an excellent example of the gift that God has given him. He is an great writer/producer/director. He is coming into his own as a wonderful actor. The story of a friendship maintained for 30 years by the main characters interjects the realities of life. Despite the rifts between family members, hurts and sorrows, this movie shows that life is really what you make it. It also shows that faith and love is key to living a decent life. Although hard as it might be sometimes, it is worth living right. I loved this movie. Tyler continue in your tradition of wholesome great cinema. Oscar Micheaux would be proud! :0)
