Movie good, Imax so-so

My family and I liked the movie enough in regular digital 3D to see it again and sought out an Imax theater for the second viewing. We loved the enhanced sound system but we all liked watching the movie less in Imax than in regular "35mm" digital 3D. I found the picture dark and drab. My wife and daughter liked the 3D better in regular format. They are Imax fans -- I'm not, especially -- and they came out sorry they'd seen it in Imax.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
