At first glance In Bruges is a dry comedy that dabbles in action. But there is a serious story with excellent comedic timing and interestingly filmed. I was highly impressed the way the plot unfolded. Ferrell's comedy skills didn't over power the movie but enhanced it. Funny, artistic and poignant. GO SEE IT!

well done but frustrating

The movie was fast paced and well shot but lacking in dilalog. By the third time the movies taken you through its short story line you're ready to know the final outcome. Too much repetition and not enough meaty dialog to hold my interest. This movie doesn't dissapoint in action or fast moving exciting scenes but we see them all 5 or 6 times. Wait for dollar theater or check it out from the library.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
