It's worth any extra money to see this in IMAX. There have been times where I have been disapointed before with large releases and IMAX, Spider-man 2 and 3, V for Vendetta.
Dark Knight fully utilizes the sound and screen for a totally engrossing movie going experience.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
