Being a technology guy, I couldn't help but be impressed by the new 3D brought to life by James Cameron, but technology doesn't make a movie, does it?
While this isn't going to sit next to "Citizen Kane" or "The Godfather", it's a solid piece of entertaining film-making. The action is amazing and completely immersive thanks to the 3D. I found the characters believable, for the most part.
It was definitely worth the time and money and provided that classic Hollywood escape. And the visuals will blow you away. Definitely catch it on the big screen in 3D, if you're able.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
