I enjoyed this movie. James Franco did a great job and I sincerely hope he gets Oscar recognition for it. It could easily have been boring but it kept my attention with his videotaping and mirages. I didn't care for the soundtrack and the 3-way-split screen parts but they didn't detract from the film excessively.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I was disappointed by this film. I saw it on Saturday and have already forgotten most of it as I'm writing this on Monday. I had read the lukewarm reviews but went to see it anyway since I saw the first two movies. Again Lisbeth and Micke had hardly any screen time together. Also the idea of a gangster underworld in Sweden is absurd to me; I mean it's Sweden! I don't like movies with too many vague government conspiracies. Really the best movie of the series is the first one because it focused on a single case that was interesting.
