This movie did what every other Potter movie before it should have done, taken its time and told the story the way it was written. And it told that story well.
This movie is funny, probably funnier if you have a basic understanding of Indian culture and Mike Myer's relationship with Deepak Chopra. They are good friends and Myers has a deep respect for Chopra.
There are a ton of one-liners in this movie, and that is where 'the funny' comes from. The plot is ok, but it really has nothing to do with how entertaining the movie is.
Overall, it was ok. Worth your $9.50? Eh, probably not. Certainly a good rental or Saturday night on HBO, or perhaps a $5 matinee.
