'Milk' is one of the best films I've seen in recent years. Gus Van Sant absolutely outdid himself -- his always masterful storytelling and emotional pacing, the brilliant mixture of archival footage with acted scenes, terrific casting & acting all the way around. I'm so happy this FINALLY got made, and in such a thorough, authentic way. Bravo!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
