Kick-Ass!

A fast, enjoyable vison of the real-world consequences of being a suprhero, Kick-Ass is witty and charming, although as other revfiewers have mentioned, it can get somewhat violent at times and is not recommended for younger or sensitive moviegoes. The lead actor does a reasonably good job, but the real star of the show is Hitgirl, who, while crude, steals every scene she is in. Nicolas Cage turns in a fairly disappointing performance, his stilted speech more irrtating with every word, but even that does not diminish this movie's appeal. If you ever liked comic books or thought about being a superhero, check out Kick-Ass.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
