Just saw it over the weekend in 3D. Was one of the best movie going experiences in my life so far. The special effects were awesome, unlike anything seen before. Not the usual 3D where things keep jumping out at you. This was more of an immersive experience. But no movie can run on special effects alone. Good characters, especially strong female characters (one of Cameron's trademarks), great pacing( I really didn't feel bored all through the almost 3 hour running time), and quite a few metaphors about the world as it is now...all combine to make it a movie with heart. Sure there are some cliches, but what movie doesn't have some? James Cameron is back with another big bang...Watch it, you won't be disappointed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
