If you have insomnia, this may be your cure. You wll get extremely tired waiting for something to happen. Not a horror flick as advertised, it's more a chick flick gone bad.
The movie had much more plot and depth than I expected. Good (not great) acting, eye opening cinematography, script and visuals. A bit choppy, some sub-plots were overly labored (the train scenes as children). A bit long due to the repeated sequencing of flashbacks and game show scenes.
We got to the movie theater early to get good seats. We didn't have to. Nobody else bothered to show up. They obviously had better intel than we did. This movie is insipid. We waited and waited for some essence of plot and or character development. Finally, after almost two hours of almost pure vapidity, the movie thankfully ended.
Enjoyable entertainment with a good message portrayed in a humorous way. Would have left even more uplifted had the last scenes been left on the cutting room floor.
