The movie wasnt the greatest but it also wasnt the worst. It is in-between. However I do want to point out that a lot of people say on their reviews that there are a lot of unanswered questions at the end of the movie. I do not think so at all. You have to be school aged not to have understood the movie. The questions were answered throughout the entire movie.

Not for children

I cant believe disney made a movie like this and marketed it towards kids. It is not that the movie is graphic or anything but the script and storyline were so confusing that myself, a college graduate, had a hard time understanding it. The lights and effects will catch kids attention but I doubt they will understand what they were watching.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Not as good as the original

This movie pretty much followed the same script as the original version with John Wayne. In fact to me the origional was a lot more playful and fun. The girls character was more playful and fun in the original as well. In this new version the ending absolutely dissappointed me. It was the one thing in the movie that was different than the original.

I must admit I was skeptical about going into this movie but the very beginning got rid of all that. It was so in your face action that I loved it. The very 1st scene of action is him going up to the 1st target and quickly shooting him in the face. It was so awesome and cool!The rest of the movie was fast like this as well. Some of the parts were slow but not much. I figured out who the "man" was from the very beginning but some people wont get it until the end.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Remake

This is simply a remake of the foreign film called "Let the Right One In". Go to Blockbuster and rent "Let the Right One In" and basically see the exact same movie and save some money.

Funny, Not Scary

I give this movie 2 stars for the shear comedy of the movie. To see Renee Zellweger huddled in the corner and under the bed with the look of terror on her face from a 10yr old child was hillarious. I laughed the entire movie. Not in the least bit scary. At one point I laughed so hard my eyes watered. Wait for the dvd and then have a good laugh.

This movie in itself is a bad representation on Americans as a whole. Its movies like this that degrade the movie industry. I cant believe people would make this crap. It's not funny or cute, it's downright embarassing and ridiculous.

Still Laughing

This was one of the best comedies I have seen in a while. Some things in the movie make you say "this is so crazy" but you still love every moment of it. I for one love Sigourney Weaver and she really shined in this role. A far cry from Alien Resurrection but equally as great.

No Need For 3D

There is no need to see this movie in 3D. Regular version is just as good and saves you money. That being said, This Movie Was Awesome!
I dont understand all the bad reviews and I totally disagree when people say the action faded after the beginning of the film. The action was there beginning to end. Could the fight scenes have been longer? Yes. Did they copy off of the Matrix? Yes. But what film doesnt get ideas from somewhere else? It has been the process of the film indusrty to copy ideas and that wont change.
Now some say that there is no need to have to have seen the previous 3 RE films but i disagree. I think the other three films are essential to know what is going on in the 4th called Afterlife. Please people follow the storyline and dont be so quick to judge.

Instructions!!!

I went into the theatre hoping that this movie was going to be good and it was!!! I have paid to see it twice already and want to see it a third time.
The most frusrtating thing about this movie is that un-experienced action movie watchers will be confused by the plot. Both times I watched the movie I had someone sitting next to me asking questions the whole time because they didnt understand something.
The movie must be closely watched and every word said by the main characters needs to listened to in detail. Thats the only way to understand everything that is going on. If you talk a lot in the movie or even get up for a bathroom break chances are you will miss something crucial.
If you diligently watch action movies and know how to REALLY follow a good plot then you will fall in love with this movie. The negative reviews probably came from people who got lost somewhere in the movie and didnt realize what was going on.
